
The game has man story missions, but there are also a ton of side missions for you to do as well. You can do things like help a Pokémon, escort them, find something and so on. There is a ton of stuff to keep you busy in each of the dungeons which are random, that you encounter. Getting through the dungeon, helping others, getting new members on your team and discovering what happened to you is the goal of the game. You do also get to pick a buddy as you play. The game gives you this little personality quiz at the start of the game and the answers you give will dictate what one of the ten Pokémon you get to play as. Oh, and you are also turned into a Pokémon. The game has you playing as a human, who after a disaster has lost their home and their memory…. With this game, they have really changed things up. The Pokémon games tend to have a fairly straight forward formula when it comes to their story. It is an interesting take on the world of Pokémon and as you actually play as a Pokémon it was a game (and the start of a series) that many people were excited about. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team is a strange side Pokémon game that was released on the Game Boy Advance all the way back in 2006. An overall must-play for every fan, even if you're not into these games, this can be an excellent entry point to the Pokémon world. A cute adventure in the colorful pokémon world, for the first time we get to talk with them and see how they live in nature. This spin-off turned out great, interesting gameplay in an already great game world.

The Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series had a great start with this title.

Even the controllers were a bit improved too, but with all that, they are still technically identical. You could argue that the DS version had the upper hand, thanks to all the ergonomic and hardware advantages the DS had. But it was amazing to see there two consoles delivering the same quality and game experience. This wasn't great for the DS since it wasn't able to use more of the console's power.

They released the first Mystery Dungeon game for two different consoles at the same time. And while it's normal for pokémon games to release two different versions at the same time, they are always released in the same console. Unlike most games in the series that have us play as a pokémon trainer, this time we're going to be living the life of one of these amazing creatures. And while saving Pokémon in danger and fighting foes are important, we'll also make progress discovering just what happened to us, and how we ended up being a pokémon. Tons of natural disasters have been taking place, and we're here to rescue the pokémon in danger.Īs the story progresses we are going to find out why these disasters have been happening, and how these rescue teams work. We join a rescue team and we're supposed to help residents of different zones in danger.
